hahaist011's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- thursday night is kind of alright. if you pretend. everything is a jack piece of hell, except: --i am getting a washer and dryer! --flagstaff (aka discount berkeley) at least has a gap. and i went to it. --this teacher who is my age and navajo told me that she never really talked to any other teachers at school much but now she's down with my chums heidi and dana...because of me. sweeeet. --the game tomorrow is at home. --kids get super-stoked when you buy them birthday cakes. --i got _The Film Noir Reader_! --the teacher across the hall (navajo!) has befriended me. --i got two new students today. i have decided to think this is good instead of just going with my instinctual, "two more bundles of needs that i cannot satisfy." --i am about to dye my raggedy ass hair. --horses horses everywhere! --i went to this canyon that had anasazi and basket-weaver ruins. just there to look at. AND grass! AND trees with changed leaves! AND leaves crunching underfoot. --i like how the Vibe looks after i've been driving on dirt roads--orange streaks across the back window and orange cake around the wheel wells. you shoulda seen it parked on top of the canyon, proud as a print ad. all outdoorsy and shit. that reminds me: i am getting used to the outdoors as it is here. the places here are amazing and unmonitored (like the slot canyon i went through). i went to walnut canyon near flag, and it was like a paved trail with concrete steps and Informative Signs About Cliff Dwellers, and it was all beautiful whatev but basically shitty. because you couldn't just do what you felt like doing. and no dogs. am i becoming a different person? 7:58 p.m. - 2007-10-18 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
