hahaist011's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- july 8 2008 in the Accent, driving through wexford into Ross Township and then into Pgh. rachel's like "where can we dance where can we dance?" nowhere, you know? it was Tuesday. rachel said "hey what if we went to Matrix?" and i said "we might die of embarrassment?" instead, then, we just drove down carson street like as slow as possible, trying to jog our dum-dum memories about places. we passed the Smiling Moose, and i remembered--"oh hey they have comedy there tonight." rachel is like "really? that place is always disgusting" and i go "no, i bet lee'll be there" she was like ok cool, and i was like "oh my god is this cool?" and we go in, whether cool or no. we drink tonic water. which i love so much right about now. (i will talk sobriety some other time or never, depending. i mean, it's really annoying because it's like i'm discovering something? and it's not like i've been a real dipso or anything. just maybe it's been kinda problematic.) we stay about 45 minutes and then go home. it wasn't the same as going dancing; in part, at least, because it was really sad. but i guess it was ok. and we can go to raggedy ass lava on friday.
